Our HydroDerm Facial is an alternative to microdermabrasion, that combines the natural benefits of oxygen and water to hydrate, clean and revitalize your skin. Included in this treatment will be a mask treatment and a hand and arm massage. This treatment decreases the visibility of scarring and dark shadows, improves blood circulation, supports collagen and elastin production, tightens the skin and will leave your skin smooth and glowing. Note: A HydroDerm facial strongly differs from a HydraFacial and the two services have no affiliation, although similar.

How it Works
Step 1 – Hydrodermabrasion
Hydrodermabrasion shoots a pressurized stream of saline solution onto the skin. The high velocity of this procedure effectively removes dead skin cells at first contact, exfoliating and soothing the skin at the same time. Better circulation, in turn, promotes the production of collagen and elastin fibers that tighten the skin and promote a youthful look.

Step 2 - Radio Frequency Therapy
Radiofrequency therapy uses currents similar to the ones found naturally in our body’s electrical circuits to cause tissues to contract, which in turn safely tighten skin and increase its contour.

*The clients with the following contraindications should NOT proceed with this service; Heart conditions, Epilepsy or Pacemaker, Impetigo skin infection, Autoimmune disease, Accutane patients- you must wait 6 months after discontinuing the medication, Grade 4 acne, Pregnancy or Nursing, Cancer- clients must be in remission for at least 6 months before a course of Hydrodermabrasion treatments, Raised moles, warts, skin tags, Keloid scars, Psoriasis, Eye infections ex: Conjunctivitis, styes, and/or Cysts, skin disorders such as Seborrheic Dermatitis, Herpes Simplex, Active Acne, and Eczema, Don’t treat over a tattoo or permanent makeup, poorly controlled endocrine disorders such as diabetes. For injections wait the following time periods; Neurotoxin injections 3-4 weeks, can be done beforehand, Natural Fillers (e.g., Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, etc.) wait 3-4 weeks, can be done beforehand, Synthetic Fillers (e.g., Silicone) cannot be treated, can do beforehand. Additionally, we do not treat clients with current medical treatments that involve the following: cortisone, steroid treatments, photosensitive drugs and herbs such as, psoralen and St. John’s wort.
